Gosh! I randomly got an email about the board lately and boy have I been out of the loop for a while!

Instantly put Brothers of Gondor into google and was happy to see the board is still kicking. I used to adore this place back in all the excitement of the LOTR movies. I think my obsession with the fandom burned out in 2006, but I'll always be fond of Faramir.

I hope you've all been well the last 5 years! Arwen, Cressida, I remember speaking to you both pretty frequently here!

I know what you mean about burning out on the fandom.  I find that I like LOTR as much as ever--the story, the characters, the themes--but I'm less interested in going out and doing fandom things related to it.  It's gotten to feel more personal, less communal somehow.  Still, this board is like home, and I do still check it regularly.
