As we have a place to gush....might I gush about my latest obsession?

Ooohhh... that's a very nice picture, CDD! I have to confess, I have never seen any of Jake's movies... Maybe I should?  Any recommendations?

Hmmm movie recommendations...I guess the best place to start is Donnie Darko. It's very weird and very dark, but Jake is brilliant in it. I'd recommend Moonlight Mile too. That's quite a small sort of film but the acting is great (it's got Susan Sarandon and Dustin Hoffman in too) and the whole feel and atmosphere is wonderfully done.

Jake's most recent big film is The Day After Tomorrow, which would be a brainless disaster film if he weren't in it..... 

He is adorbale! Nice choice - delicious eyes and beautiful mouth! 

I think it's the eyes that really do it for me. I could lose myself in those quite happily! 

Oh, Jake was so cute in “bubble boy”, but I don’t know if that’s a movie I would recommend though…
And I think hi was the hot guy in "Highway", or am I wrong?

I saw Donnie Darko for the very first time on Tv yesterday. Wow, that's a pretty awesome movie!

It's become one of my favourites, which is funny as I didn't really like it at all the first time I saw it. I'm not sure why I didn't like it though!

Ooh - a Jake topic! Why have I never seen this?

I've fallen for Jake the first time I saw "Brokeback Mountain".
Maybe it's more the character he plays but he's so ... ah, both gentle and passional the same!

Besides I've never seen a guy with such a soft expression he has in the scene of the retrospection after Ennis left.

He is amazing and I could watch him for hours! I think it's the eyes. They have so much expression in them. And he's one of a select number of men who actually manage to look hot in a beard.

Okay, I'd never seen one of his movies up to now, but I just saw Prince of Persia, and I must say, he is very easy on the eyes!  But I think I prefer him with long hair; he's got the face to pull it off.

Nice pics!    I have missed this scene in the movie too. I have watched this movie two times in cinema. 

I know the movie "The day after tomorrow", where Jake plays a nice supporting role. But he looks there very boyish.
